Hoping to grab the 4 seed in the Villanova Bracket

This year it is just about playing as good as you can. Matchups that look good on paper at the beginning of the tournament rarely come to occur. I don't care where we are and who we play. Just got to get in the right mindset. This team is capable of beating everyone and I include Kentucky. But we are also capable of getting knocked out early. Don't worry about who we play and come to play hard.

Would appear to be ideal. But you have to look deeper that just who is the top seed in the bracket

At this point, Lunardi has the Heels as a 4 with Wisconsin.

However it shapes up, I've not seen a better crop of teams in the country 1-5 like the ACC, when each of them play their best. UVA is hurting with their star nursing his left hand, but they are a legit 2 seed. Any one of them can make a deep push and beat elite teams in the process.

If our guys can play rested and focused, anything can happen, especially with 3 (count 'em, 3) deep threats finding their stroke. I think the Heels will raise their play even more and be a real threat to any higher seeds.

I'm sorry, but I don't think UVa makes it out of the sweet 16. They had a nice little run through early Feb and played the easiest conference schedule of any contender in any conference. However this time of year separatea men from boys and those boys will be back in C'ville before April.

Villanova is tough because they actually play defense. With the exception of UVA, who in the ACC puts defense first?

That's really why Notre Dame finally won a conference title tonight: because they moved into a league where there isn't a premium placed on stopping the opponent. Not taking anything away from ND, because they played defense when it mattered in this tournament, and especially had a great defensive plan against Duke. But this ACC isn't as tough as the old Big East because the teams aren't as hard-nosed and defensive minded.

We have length that Villanova honestly hasn't really seen all year. They are the best person for us for a 1.

I dunno. I think UVa is going to at least the Elite 8. They are a focused, determined, composed team. I'm thrilled we beat them, but I still think they have the goods. We'll see,

There is an outside shot we can snag Maryland's 3 seed since they lost today. Outside shot.
If we had won last night I'd agree, no chance now.
