With Meeks and Pinson out, I am scratching my head at this line. I figured that UL would be favored by 5 or 6.
The Heels will need to play at a much higher level than yesterday. UL is physical and hits the backboard.
UL should be more rested and still riding high from knocking off UVA. Not having Chris Jones does hurt
them as he was big for them last time against us. Will take a total team effort from the Heels!!

Played twice, split, Heels were in position to win both games. Meeks is a factor but as mentioned the crowd will probably be 70% pro-UNC.

All of the above, plus the fact that betting odds are based on getting the money flowing, not necessarily on the absolute strengths of the teams.

I understand that Vegas wants equal betting. I never bet on a game the Heels are involved in, but would
anyone on this board seriously bet on the Heels???

based on the first two games, i'd take the points no matter who was favored (bet on the underdog) if i had no rooting interest in the game. thing that scares me about this one for the heels w/o meeks is foul trouble on the bigs - either on rozier getting into the paint or on harrell and co. - that could be a problem.

I guess they think it would be impossible for the refs to call 40+ fouls on UNC again

How the refs call, it will most likely determine the outcome here. If they hit us with fouls for being in the same zipcode of LVs guards while letting LV get away with murder like they did last game we are sunk.

I hope that POS Lucky isn't working this game.

Wish I had seen this earlier. I was pretty comfortable betting the Heels today. As others have mentioned we controlled 3 out of the 4 halves ... and this was basically a home game. I was actually surprised the line wasn't -5 or so. GO HEELS

This is a good reason for me not to ever bet. A tale of two halfs. UNC seemed
pretty bad in the first half and great in the second. I will be wrong everytime
if the Heels win!!!!
