I didn't know anything about those connections, like between Donnan and Mack. I believe Donnan came pretty close to being our HC at one time. If they talk every week, I'd love to eavesdrop.
Donnan, an assistant under Dooley, wanted the UNC job when Mack left. Donnan would have left UGA to take the UNC job. The idiots in charge did not want him. Many UGA fans then were ready to fire Donnan just for wanting another job.
thanks, I couldn't remember if it was after Mack or after Bunting, but I do remember him getting enough serious consideration that some people were saying he was going to be the guy. Wasn't it also when Mark Richt was getting a good look, or was that a different time? I have a serious case of CRS.
