Is there any way to make a simple table?

For example to make a table like

TEAM W-L
UNC 7-0
Duke 6-1
Notre Dame 6-0
.
.
.

With the headings spaced out and the items below lined up underneath the proper heading.

We used to be able to do this with no fuss by shifting to the Courier New font (which is not proportionally spaced) but that doesn't work now.

Aha. Using the CODE option works. But it shows the word "Code:" in the depiction.

Not perfect, but it's a workaround.

Still, could you give us something that works better?
