LOL, oh my, but ya know, when you talk about why we are pounding the ball so much outside doing basically nothing for 10-15mins of the shot clock people get real pissed! Because when you do that you dare question either of our starting guards, you may get away with questioning Cadeau or Seth but don't you dare question RJ? LOL Sorry but I just find that funny! LOL

WW, do you recall when the NCAA allowed the 3pt sot to come to college basketball, recall how much that changed the game? Well the game change now in place makes that look far more hill than mountain.
Ya see, there are bigger fish to fry and the powers that be for UNC are playing a long game now, thank goodness that they are, we are no longer playing checkers, we are now playing chess like the big boys have to. UNC isn't just doing all of this to win a football game or 2 more, a basketball game or 2 more, no, there is an even larger reason at play. I don't care what you have been told or what you want to believe but within the next 5yrs UNC will no longer be in the ACC, it will be in either the SEC or the BIG 10, most likely the SEC. UNC is right now TODAY working behind the scenes to leave the ACC, they are letting FSU and Clemson do the dirty work but the ACC is dead, just the undertaker has not publicly announced the death.
UNC is making these radical changes now so that when they join the SEC they will be a contender rather than bottom dweller, they simply can not stay in the ACC and field the number of non-revenue sports they want to keep funding. ESPN $$$ is driving all of this and there are other programs looking to get out of the ACC right now as well. UNC will strike while they still have great options, not wait til they are forced to find a home out of desperation.

I hope you’re right man. I’d love to be able to watch them play live in more games. I can be at vandy, ol miss, st, bama, or auburn fairly easy. They would all love to have that draw for basketball. Hopefully under better circumstances than this year lol
Bama, I can tell you with out a doubt, I have had far more push back questioning RJ than I have ever had being critical of Cadeau. I have been critical of them BOTH.
I understand and I guess I’m my mind more criticism should be on a guy who turns the ball over and hasn’t shot well, than a guy who over dribbles and hasn’t shot well but is a proven shooter. Regardless we need them both to be good in order to do anything.
My thing is that I try, not always successfully but I do try to look at each game as it's own entity. I try best I can to not let past games influence the game I am watching. Because for example, a guy may shoot efficiently in a game but play a poor floor game other wise I am inclined to say just that, no matter who it may be. I think every player deserves both praise as well as criticism as earned by their play, same for a coach.
It is funny for me how I can call out a player for something that I either do or do not like that is against the current meme tagged to that player and all the sudden folks take that as my being either for that player or not for him, I am for every single player we have. I have been clear about who my 2 favorite players on this roster are, Seth and Jalen (in that order BTW, LOL ). Yet when I see either of them playing poorly I talk about that to. If anything, I will see a guy that plays strong defense in a better light than I do a scorer who doesn't. I just believe offense scores points but defense wins games.
I like defense too but someone has to score. And ol Roy hung his hat on offense all the way. I do like the guys that can do both though.
You right about Roy, I always felt that was a flaw in Roy, lesson I many times wished he had taken from Dean.
The season is not finished. That would be a major distraction and make Hubert look like an idiot that his perceived baby-sitter just showed up during this crappy season.
I expect the GM within 1 week of the season ending so we can scout and recruit the portal and hopefully Europe once again. How the hell does Illinois end up with a better team than us by getting foreign players? We should be a magnet for players worldwide.
Definitely not trying to argue but I bet Roy likes his three chips more. I liked it. Love to see good defense but bad offense (this year) makes the top of my head come off.
The best defense is a good offense.
It worked for the 2009 champs. One of my favorite teams.
They were #1 in offensive efficiency, but they were also #38 in Defense. They were a pretty good defensive team, especially in the tournament. This year's team is #76 in offense and #183 in defense. Terrible

But the 2009 team figured out something no other team ever seems to fully grasp. If you jump to a big lead and stay there, you win.
Not relevant but the 2009 team was #1 in adj off efficiency and #18 in adj def efficiency.
This year's team is #43 in adj off efficiency and #64 in adj defensive efficiency
I don't think a team has won the National Championship over the last 25 years without ranking in the top 25 in offensive and defensive efficiency.
Don't get me wrong, this year's team is pretty atrocious defensively.
AJ has talked about it and posted some stats on 4 Corners…Basically this team does nothing really well…
