It still has time to change, so it could hit up near Jax, but everyone should be prepared. This SoB is moving sloooooooooow, which means it's going to drop a ton of rain on people. I'd be more worried about flooding than anything else at this point.
um, you might wanna check your insurance for that...i fear for the obx.

Insurance isn’t an issue. I just hope there’s not a lot of damage. Right now it looks like more water than wind damage is likely.
I'm so sick of this ish. Just a few months ago I was working on the damage from the last one. I hope this sucker takes a hard right and heads to England.
This, the storm is so slow that it's just going to dump a ton of water wherever it goes.
been rough...not nearly as bad as we expected here and from what i understand, charleston got lucky...they flood during king tides, but not as much surge as they predicted.
thoughts and prayers for everyone else dealing with this.
