I absolutely despise to hear people yell "and 1"

I am friggin' sick of hearing that. Its like people will yell it out even if the shot has zero chance of going in or if there was no foul at all. They sound stupid as hell when every time a shot goes up, they yell "AND 1"!! I want to say "minus 2" but that's just as dumb as the other.

That's all I have.

Yeah, it doesn't really bother me. I've yelled it, along with 'ball don't lie' and plenty of other nonsense when I've played.

Agree. It's slightly less irritating than when a wide receiver doesn't catch a pass and immediately starts making the motion of throwing the flag as if he was interfered with.

At the center we play at, feel free to say that but if it does not go in you do not get the call, if you go up and Say Ball out or Foul you get the call up top...

Yeah, that's pretty standard pick-up rules. If the shooter calls foul, and the ball rolls in, no point and the shooter's team gets the ball at the top. If the defense gives the foul and the ball rolls in, the shooting team takes the points.
