Baylor and Iowa State wish they would have pulled games out by 2 against an "inferior" team. This time of year is all about match-ups. When they don't favor your team, you survive and advance...

Did UNC play well, no...Did they play well enough to win, yes...Those above (Who were picked to go many rounds deep by the so-called experts) didn't.

Enjoy the win, hope we take care of the ball better on Saturday. I am not happy with how we played, but UNC isn't alone in being in a close game in the first round of the tourney. Looks like others are still feeling that now by looking at scores...

Not sure what would satisfy some posters today. Tough game, tough couple of years and the frustrations are quick to boil over.

Maybe everyone needs to pour themselves another Jim Beam and hope it's not the only thing from that State to go down tonight.

I don't have any idea if we are a little better than either of them - hadn't played them...But I do know they are at home, and the Heels move on.

All I said is they would love to be sitting where we are - still playing.

After the dust settles, I'm thrilled that we won and are moving on. Like most Tar Heel fans, I'm still in shock over how that game finished, so it does leave a less-than-satisfied feeling. However by tomorrow and especially by Saturday, I won't give two S**Ts about how we won this game, and will be happy to watch the Heels play once again.

No we didn't play them , we all played tonight and our result was a little better,...we are supposed to compare with UK , dook , KU etc not Baylor and ISU. ........never mind
