As I have said seemingly forever: Carolina blue and white are perfection. You do not need any other trim color. Thin strips of navy are OK. Carolina blue and white are all you need.Hi Archer2, I just love seeing that CAROLINA BLUE on the field of competition.
!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TAR HEELS !!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you have a link? Can’t find it.Check out the youtube video of the new field turf in Kenan...... It looks GREAT
Ugh. Not a fan.
This is better.
Not a fan of that and for the Hedges...I have sat on the bottom row they sucked....
I understand but it looks good for me...Also it will help later on when the High School Football Title games are played...
Supposedly they were able to lower the field when they put in the turf, so that wouldn't be an issue now.Not a fan of that and for the Hedges...I have sat on the bottom row they sucked....
I reserve the right to bitch about the turf as much as @gteeitup bitches about the uniforms.Different strokes for different folks
Didn't Kenan have hedges before UGA did at Sanford? It's also a huge fail not to put the hedges back up.
I rag on about both when they could be betterI reserve the right to bitch about the turf as much as @gteeitup bitches about the uniforms.
Not sure. UGA says theirs was installed in 1929. Couldn't find an exact date for UNC, but I found an article talking about Ramses eating them in the mid 20s.Didn't Kenan have hedges before UGA did at Sanford?

At least 1 UNC grad was part of the team that built Sanford, and that team had earlier built Kenan. Not sure. UGA says theirs was installed in 1929. Couldn't find an exact date for UNC, but I found an article talking about Ramses eating them in the mid 20s.
I agree. I am all for grass, unless you are in an area where the growing of a nice field is very tough. Those places are very few and far between.Putting turf in kenan is a heinous crime against all that is awesome about college football. They should at least start selling beer in the rest of the stadium to appease us purists.
