I hate not addressing our problems..I'm pissed, I've sat back and digested these 2 losses, and that's ok, 2 L's on the road..but, defend the basketball please, I respect the heck out of Roy but, 'we were out coached, couldn't get my players to play with intensity'..why?
That's just Roy deflecting the blame off the players and accepting responsibility. Coach Smith did the same thing after just about every loss. Many coaches' egos won't allow them to do this. It's something I love about Roy.
Look, Roy's doing his best to coax more intensity out of these guys. It's clear to me that our Coach's intensity hasn't waned one iota. I just think guys like Kennedy and Justin have laid back personalities. With some guys, that's a difficult thing to change.

To all the classless fans on this thread that continue to mock Coach K and his back. injury / sickness this year, here is a thread from our board about your coach collapsing and not a single fan making fun of him about it. Read it and try to gain some class from it.

All I see is a bunch of posters patting themselves on the back over being holier than thou. It's gotta be blatantly obvious if even dukiejay is calling it out.

Funny thing is I've seen posters there make fun of Roy for fainting before. They make fun of Kennedy's weight all the time. They have made fun of Hansbrough getting his nose broke. They made fun of the way Dean looked. I could go on. So you have a thread wishing Roy well for fainting on the court? Congrats. Acting like you are 'classier' is disengenuous at best. You should certainly pay closer attention if you really buy that. I get you guys need that for some reason. You always have. So you pick and choose what you feel is acceptable and what isn't to qualify your hypocrisy. It isn't hard to make yourself believe something. So congrats on that. You can go back over there and act like you really did something now.
Dook and class, hard to put those words in the same sentence. Did anyone hear Bomanti Jones bashing them yesterday afternoon on ESPN radio. He took about 20 minutes and just laid the whole program out. Why is it Dook always has "That Guy?"

Hard to say who is the biggest hypocrite, the self proclaimed "LOM" or one of his sycophants from DI.
If you do something classy, all the while patting yourself on the back for being classy, it smacks of insincerity. For those that refrained, I salute you.
