Just need some clarification. Would you cover the cost of food? The cost of eating out everyday would take a significant amount of that $5k. If you're covering the cost of food then yes and Chick-fil-A.

Chick fil a seems doable. But if he’s footing the bill then I’m going with outback.

That was my first thought as well. You could get the $5k and still lose money eating out all the time.

If I'm buying the food, then 5k isn't worth the effort. But, I understand the point of the exercise. I like Fatz cafe.

Any one of these three (in this order)

1) IHOP - good breakfast food, I'm a breakfast food fan, and I assume their non-breakfast food is decent, too
2) Chipotle - I could probably eat their burrito bowls most every day, and they have a decent variety of other food
3) Chik-Fil-A - best fast food, and their drinks are awesome, too. Would have to fast on Sundays, like TarHeelMark said

Not sure how that would work since they're closed on Sunday. Maybe you fast on that day? @Raising Heel ?
You'd either have to fast or buy enough on Saturday to last you through the day.

Some of these responses are concerning. I love Chick-fil-A, too, but could you guys actually eat fried chicken for every meal, every day? You could change it up with grilled chicken from time to time but you're still gonna grow beaks and feathers.

That’s the reason I picked K&W. If I’m going to eat at the same place for a year I want a large selection

I've never had one there, but they have salads too. And I know you can't live on these, but their drinks are quite good. I agree it is not a great first choice due to lack of variety in the menu. I'd still take Chik-Fil-A over any burger or diverse menu chain like McD's with food that is garbage.

Maybe they are just in the Midwest, but Culver's is a good (but not healthy) fast food chain.

They've recently opened some locations in Charlotte.

I was at a client in Holland, Michigan several years ago. Whenever I traveled for work, I tried to eat some place new that I'd never been before. There weren't a lot of restaurant options there so I ended up at Culver's not knowing what kind of place it was. I legitimately enjoyed the meal -- in the spirit of exploring new things -- but when I told the client the next morning what I'd done, they all made faces and were very disappointed in me, lol.

You could switch it up now and then and have breakfast all day by ordering a lot in the morning and keeping it for the rest of the day.

Cheesecake Factory

That extensive menu of theirs would break up the monotony.
CF is an excellent choice, and I believe will win this thread. I do believe I'd put on about 30 pounds in the year if I weren't working out constantly though. Their food and diverse menu is quite good.

We have Culver's down here in Florida. I'm definitely a fan.

Sorry to temporarily derail the thread, but what business, client? My daughter was looking at attending Hope College in Holland. Quite a pretty, nice little town. We enjoyed it a lot. She ended up choosing somewhere else, but its a sort of fun lake town to visit.

Well, if you're not paying...

Yes, I probably could. I ate nothing but chicken six days a week for about six months when I was younger. Never got tired of it. I don't think adding a day for a year would hurt me.

Just popping in to give you my feedback! $5k is not enough of an incentive to make me want to stop eating all the other delicious foods available to me. I'll pass!

Resthaven. I was consulting on their home health business but they also have independent living, assisted living, rehab, long term care, etc.

I would do it for $5K, but you got to pay for all the meals and drinks.

In which case, I would choose Chili's.
