Which coaches would be which presidential candidate? Here's my take:
K is Clinton. Undeniably experienced and competent, but with a nasty streak and a monstrous sense of entitlement plus a willingness to bend rules and throw people under the bus for any advantage.
Cal is Trump. Brash and bold but walking a tightrope of extravagance and bluster that will (probably) eventually blow up in his face.
Roy is Bernie Sanders. Unwavering in his beliefs and values. Old school - maybe to a fault. Honorable. Sometimes manages his timeouts badly.
You can drill down further. For example, Tony Bennett is Rubio - fresh and young and strong early, but can he keep it up? Rick Barnes is Cruz - slimeball. Leonard Hamilton is Jeb - solid but reliably underperforms. Gott is Kasich - neither as good nor as bad as people say but ultimately boring. Pitino is Carly Fiorina - sharp and tough but very abrasive.
Who have you got?
