By all means, deport everyone that is not born of immigrant ancestors who came to America, is only of the Christian "religion" and has an income over $75K a year. Think that will work? I am sure no one would be pissed about it and will go gracefully and never bother us again!

Didn't say that. I just do not think it is a very smart idea to take a bunch of people with zero trust credibility, place them into one of the most secure (or supposed to be) parts of our national structure (military), give them military training and weapons...and then send them back into the wild, on their own, and expect that not to backfire on us.
If I remember correctly, Osama Bin Laden was trained and supported initially by our very own CIA.
I originally posted it being facetious because our answer to everything is to fight and kill and then wonder why we grow so many terrorists because of it. That is exactly what will happen, it will backfire on us just like it always has so obviously "we" have been doing something wrong for a long time.
I understand your stance on it. I feel like we all pretty much know where everyone else stands and there's nothing any of us can say that will change how we think. I wish we could all live harmoniously...I really do...given the dynamics across the board, I just do not believe this to be realistically possible. :/

My solution to immigration remains, set up a bunch of these guys on the border and tell them to drop anything that moves:
Yep, illegal immigration (across the Southern border) would cease pretty damn quick. Can you imagine the liberal reaction if this actually happened? They'd be furious. Not because of the death being caused - but because they were losing voters.

When I first learned of "immigration" (I guess I was in high school), I initially thought that's what we did. I thought that if people were sneaking across the border, we'd shoot them. I guess I thought that from watching movies or cartoons or something. But then I found out that's not how we operate and I was like, "really?...we don't shoot them?...why not?"
Illegal immigration is like a mouse problem in your house. You see just one of them in the garage and you're like, "ohh, he's so cute. I just can't bring myself to kill him." But wake up one day with 4 or 5 running across your bed and you'll quickly change your mind. And that's the thing, the one you didn't kill initially is the reason you have 4 or 5 running through your bedroom.

Concept is good, but use land mines, not snipers.
That all sounds great, guys! And it will be until a whole bunch of people get together and THEN decide that white conservative, gun toting men who wear ball caps on Saturday are a problem and they have to go too! The demise of every "group" will surely come until there is no one left.
