I'm guessing this will be a young vs old argument. Older posters choosing BD and younger choosing ML.

Interesting. Bull Durham was made in 1988 and Major League in 1989. Why would you think age has something to do with it?
ML had more of a younger feel to it though. That's why I was thinking it would appeal more to the younger crowd. That's been my experience with everyone I know. My dad and his friends would say BD and all the people my age say ML.So I originally thought that and had to google it...they came out 1 year apart. I was shocked.
It's the style of the humor and the cast.I literally thought the same thing as @tarheel0910. I don't know why BD feels much older than ML.

Major League is so quotable.
"JUUUUUST a bit outside, he tried the corner and missed"
"You may run like Hayes, but you hit like shit"
"Are you saying Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball"
Have you seen her daughter?I'm not gonna lie, I kind of have a thing for Susan Sarandon.
I can’t understand why.I'm not gonna lie, I kind of have a thing for Susan Sarandon.
Which baseball movie is better - Major League or Bull Durham?
I watched parts of both last night and I can't really call it. Both movies are outstanding.

The never-before-seen triple spoiler alert. Bravo, sir.
@ticket2ride04 wins this thread. Congratulations
Well, at least this time we knew who “someone’s” daughter was. And for that, I am thankful.

The short answer is No. But we must carry on.But Susan Sarandon is someone’s daughter in her own right. Will it never end?
