Two TD tosses in his first game back, with another pass setting up a third score. Impressive stats for Chazz! Kudos to Fedora for recognizing and nurturing the talent!

Surratt is not a true freshman. He is not a RS freshman. He started games last year. He is an excellent all around athlete. He has great straight line and broken field running skills, the kind that could make him at least as dangerous a WR and kick returner as ARW. But he lacks most QB skills - not 'athlete' playing at QB skills, but actual QB skills.

Yes, if Fedora plays him come Hell or high water, and the rest of the team goes along and everything with them falls into place, Surratt as a 5th year SR might have a magical season. But all that time and energy invested in Surratt means that QB development for others, for the program, is being slighted.

Fedora does not seem capable of learning any lessons.
