When Jalek turns the switch on like he did vs Westtown, he's a top 10 recruit in 2017.
Man .. I can't wait to see him running the offense, and playing defense, for the time he's at UNC !! Awesome recruit no doubt !!!!!! And that young man has what you guys like to call "handles".

Just saw that Jalek didn't make the Mickey D game. I wasn't sure he would, although there's no doubt in my mind that he's more than worthy.
On Monday in the MLK Bash, he scored 41 points and had 10 boards. Can't wait to see this kid in Carolina blue.

Snubbed by Mcds game. Couple of 4 stars chosen before him, and he's playing like he knows they made a mistake. I like the attitude, and the fact that he's backing it up.
Abomination and shows how out of whack things have gotten. Used to be they did a better job of evaluation than these overwrought recruiting sites. So much for that.
Well... it bothers me because in the past there's no way Jalek isn't a Burger Boy. They historically haven't relied on rankings from others.

Yep. And here's the telltale thing: Jalek is grossly under-ranked, yet he is the highest ranked Roy recruit not to make the McD roster.
While that speaks well for Roy's talent evaluation, the McD selection process used to do a good job of filtering out the hype. With this snub I'm not so sure anymore.
Jalek Felton is the real deal .. a thoroughbred with a pure UNC basketball lineage, pedigree and game. I think if the people here in the forum put a lot less credibility in the hype associated with ranks/stars and so called expert opinions of overpaid talking heads, and put more faith in a proven evaluator that has a couple rings and currently resides in the college bball HOF then a lot of this stupid ass banter about irrelevant ish would find it's proper place in the bit bin .. and that's all I got to say about that.

I don't think anyone in their right mind, fan or otherwise, has ever said this.
Just a touch of sarcasm RoseHeel .. for all those posters/poasters that get their step ins twisted up over ratings, stars, and opinions of people that have yet to recruit .. much less coach a high level NCAA team. Jalek Felton is a player that can elevate a team big time. He's the next JBIII .. and may be better ! jmho ..

Not being a debbie downer, but I really couldn't care less if he scored 41 in a game that was 90-17.
I care more about the numbers he put up in that close loss to a top nationally ranked team. And, they were good numbers. So, I am feeling optimistic about him.
