Tru TV said he was okay . . . a slight sprain, and nothing to get worked up about.
Yeah, he walked off on his own. That doesn't guarantee he is ok but with all the ankle injuries I've had the one where I had severe ligament damage had me barely walking at all as I left the gym. Of course, I wasn't quite the athlete JB is either.
Roy said he would be ready Wednesday.

I'm going with the guys in the locker room, like coach, said he was up, walking around, not limping...I would also wager he was in treatment from the 17:30 min mark on...
Glad to hear Berry is ok. The injury bug has already bitten Duke & UNC enough this year (particularly feet). Don't like to see a kid sidelined no matter who he plays for.
So he's not "fine by Wednesday" like we originally thought. Him tweeting "everything happens for a reason" is also a crappy sign.

No need to rush Berry back into the lineup because we will need him most against the Blue blood Wildcats and at Ga. Tech for the conference opener on New Year's eve....

I think Monmouth is a more daunting opponent at this point than Georgia Tech. But yes, I sure hope he's able to suit up against Kentucky. That would be a very tough game to win without his presence. Most important thing, though, is just getting healthy. As we often say, you don't win championships in November or December. We have a great core of players; I truly believe we're going to do something special this season. Just gotta be a little patient while waiting for Joel and Theo...
Joel is supposedly out for the Davidson game and may not play against UT, according to CBS. Very bad news for UNC fans.
