I'm actually 100% undecided at this point in that I don't have a favorite/choice. My 2016 POTUS vote may be for a republican, unless the nominee is Trump.
I'll take you up on that bet though if you are dead set on Trump, and if he is the GOP's candidate, then give me the Dem nominee.

Not only will Trump never be president, he won't win the nomination. He is the frontrunner now, but he only has about 25% support with 100% name recognition. And polls show that a majority of Republicans say they will never vote for him. So as other candidates drop out, their supporters will go to someone other than Trump. At least that's the theory. My guess is that Bush gets the GOP nomination because he is the "safe" choice.
I agree with your reasoning and I too was doubtful Trump would win the nomination. But honestly, I thought we would have started to see him fizzle out by now. His staying power has impressed me to the point that I'm starting to believe he has a real shot. He wouldn't be my choice, but I'm starting to like him a little. He's not the prototypical candidate but maybe we don't need that. I liken his candidacy in the Presidential race to the spread offense in the NFL - not what you usually see but it could work.

Agree. If Bush is the nominee I'm done. I love GWB and his dad but this country needs change, unlike the joke in the White House talked about. I am almost as fed up with the Republicans as I am the left. Only candidates I would vote for now is Trump, Carson or Cruz. Carson is the smartest on either side.
Carly Fiorina is smarter than Carson, and Carson hasn't a clue as to how Washington, DC works. He would likely be the most ineffectual POTUS that this nation has ever seen.

Trump lacks the endorsements that are critical to winning the party nomination. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, he doesn't have any at all. He has virtually no shot. His campaign is either cheap entertainment or an annoying distraction depending on your perspective.
RH buddy looking forward to next Thursday! What endorsements? The only thing he needs is the endorsement of the people and he's well on his way to getting it. People are sick of the same insiders from both sides.

A LOT of folks are tired of "politicians" and the election of a Community Organizer paved the way for a guy like Trump to be elected when things get as bad as they are now - ESPECIALLY when the opposing candidate is so weak.

I agree with a lot of that. But I would say that Rubio and Walker have a chance as well. And I like both of them infinitely more than Bush and Cruz.
On a side note, Dr. Carson seems like a really nice and likable guy...that has no place in politics.
