Still kind of new here and saw a thread ripping on another poster was locked, which I’m assuming was some sort of rules violation. Just want to make sure I don’t wear out my welcome with fellow alums.

The less moderation, the better, I always say. It was just an opportunity to shout out @mikeirbyusa.
Does refuting someone's points with facts or fleshed out opinions handle the need to "call someone out"? I ask because this would actually add depth to our discussions instead of derailing otherwise productive conversations. And could we possibly leave the vendettas to some type of private chat? I ask because the definition of "idiocy" can differ based on perspective!
How about if you don’t enjoy these threads then you just don’t participate in them? Seems simple enough.
