I'm just as concerned as y'all about the Heels 3 game losing streak and the IU loss. However, if I HAD to find a positive it would be that we only lost by 12 despite the stats:
As I said, the only positive I could come up with is that those stats would generally mean about a 25-30 point blowout. We did outscore them by 8 at the FT line, but that's still doesn't offset the fact that the stats are a COMPLETE IU blowout...by 12.
UNC | IU | |
FG% | 33.9 | 50.0 |
3FG% | 27.8 | 23.1 |
Reb | 39 | 40 |
Asst | 5 | 13 |
Turnovers | 10 | 8 |
Points in the paint | 24 | 50 |
Only one UNC players shot better than 40%. That was Seth Trimble who was 1-1. |
Only 1 IU starter (& 2 reserves) shot less than 50% |
