Is today the greatest day in OOTB history?

So every once in awhile we have an epic day (or two) on here, and I find myself wondering, well is this better than that other time? But then I thought about it and I can really only recall the Great Avatar Switcharoo and the Roast Me thread as specific times. The rest of it all sort of blended in.

So I say we have this thread to memorialize the truly epic days on OOTB. Every time there's a potential nomination, we bump this thread - which will also serve to give us some laughs remembering all the other days that we've poasted in here.

So now we have the Great Avatar Switcharoo, the Roast Me day, and now the Strum/Chick unveiling. If I'm missing any, please let me know. And bump when the inevitable next one rolls around.

Is epic solely limited to good or can it include bad epic as well? If it can include bad, then the last day of the OOTB basketball thread was epically bad.

That it was. I wanted to make sure we were recapping days, and not just specific threads (because the RPT is obviously epic). But that thread was hilarious, lasted over a full day, pretty much got one poaster to excommunicate himself from the board (RIP bleed), and is continually referenced/mocked (you do know that's someone's daughter right!?!?). So I've added it to the original list.

Yeah I didn't have time to elaborate in my original poast but due to the length of the thread (which was originally confined to one day, as opposed to something like the RPT or the OOTB Basketball thread), and its cherished memory being kept alive in other threads, I figured it could qualify. Because aren't we all someone's daughter?

The Iowa board has a legendary thread site. Maybe we can sponsor this to store all the OOTB epic threads in one location. And they would need to meet certain criteria.
Mods, once a thread drops from the numbers on the main site, does it disappear into oblivion? If not,, it could be pinned to the top of the board and linked within that one thread

I think we need to have more days like this and rival the Iowa board.

This site already has a board for legendary threads. Not sure how you missed it.

I think at some point you lose the ability to be able to search for them. So I'm hoping they're still around and just need to be linked (the reason for starting this thread). I had searched for the two that @heelmanwilm mentioned, but wasn't able to find them (if anyone can find them and poasts them here, I'll add to the OP). I wasn't sure if it was because they were too old, or what.

You'd have to get AJ to approve it. Then get them to OK the bandwidth to store them.
 
Whatever happened to that RayFelTon poaster on here? He'd have had a field day with this today. Wasn't there a "Shock & Awe" thing we did a long time ago? I barely remember...just remember being a complete jackass to everyone.

I think we went over to the FSU board and poasted a lot dumb stuff or something, I can't remember.

That breakfast thread was missed by so many people though. @coolwaterunc was there tho
