Sufficed to say, his time with David West this past summer is paying dividends. This young man has really embraced his role off the bench.

If he can evade the "cheap fouls" he will get better-better! Of course it doesnt help when he is called for tripping when the guy tripped over his own feet.

Was watching the Cuse game again and started thinking: if he keeps this up Roy'll have to sign another big for 2016.
Esp if they win the last game in April.

I think Isaiah would be starting at any other program in the country, bar none. Which is NOT AT ALL to say that I think he should be starting for us.... I just like how well he has handled coming off the bench keeping momentum going. Great shooting, finishing, athletic bigs like him are few and far between.

People should check out the Cuse postgame video up on the UNC athletics site. I love - and can never get enough of - how much these guys all seem to genuinely like each other, and giving each other good natured ribbing.

Roy gets into the act by not even giving Isaiah any accolades for his 21 points, until the end.... and giving Marcus grief for 3 points on one made shot... but then points out Marcus had 8 assists and 0 TOs. Its a fun group / video to watch

He's leaving IMO. When Roy sits down with him and tells him he is a top 20 pick, gone. Enjoy him fellas. He is showing more polish every game.

Maybe he loves UNC so much he will stick for his Sr year. He is FUN to watch.

You can't help but root for such a nice human! The selfish Tar Heel in me wants him back for another year, but the Family member hopes he does so well he goes lottery!

Where he's at this year compared to his first couple seasons is astounding. It's hard to recall a player improving so much in one off-season. His confidence is skyrocketing, at the same time you can tell he remains humble and works extremely hard. Meeks out has definitely been a catalyst in Hicks' progress, which is great for our championship chances.

hes a tweener size wise he will have to stay another year and develop at least a good short jumper

He LOVES it at UNC. He also knows, just like Brice, he will get better at UNC.

Hicks stock could be at First round if UNC wins it all, and in that case he has to go. Love Hicks development leading up this year, but staying another year just might exploit some weakness in his game. Hicks is becoming pretty good, but look at the guys he has around him and think that most of those guys are not there next year. First round Hicks has to go.
