It’s all basketball all the time, and the ACC is a tough conference. Coach (Roy) Williams is a great coach that gets the team to the tournament year after year and a chance to compete."

What? No way. My guess is that they just haven't updated their information. This weekend was originally scheduled to be an OV for Stokes (per Clint in another thread) but I was under the impression we were no longer recruiting him.

Garrison Brooks is about to take the final true big spot and make it a moot point anyway.

Stokes is actually the player I've had the most questions about. I can't figure out what kind of player he'll be, but I'm sure that'll be more clear the more he gets into strictly basketball shape.

I do really like the way Brooks, Manley, and Huffman fit together though.

Huffman as a junkyard dog. Rebounds and hustle points.
Manley as a plus defender. Bigtime shot blocker and tons of rebounds.
Brooks as a plus shooter. High post, possible stretch 4. Shots from the elbow.

They all serve a purpose immediately off the bench. And their skills mesh where you could play any 2 of them at 4 and 5 together.

I really hope Garrison Brooks becomes a Tar Heel this weekend.
