Great atmosphere in November. I wish we could do a Home/Home with UNC. Screw UK. I'd rather have a series with you guys. It was a great win for us. Coach Roy was very classy in his post game presser. He even posed for pictures with a handicapped IU fan. I thought your players were pretty respectable guys too. I think we just wanted it a lot more. The Fort Wayne loss was a factor. Plus the fact that UNC is already considered relevant and we are trying to get back to that status. I thought we had the advantage in the backcourt. Our guards were very good last night on both ends. You guys have the superior frontcourt. I think if Roy would have went to the post a lot more, early in the game, that it would have been a much closer 1st half. IU really didn't shoot as well as what I expected. We did a good job rebounding and getting back in transition which is two things that IU seems to always do well at. We kept the tempo at a medium pace too. This was the best our defense has looked so far this season. I was very impressed with Jackson and Meeks. I still expect UNC to challenge for the Final 4. I think you guys will be a lot better when Pinson gets back. We wanted him bad at IU. Thought we were going to get him. Best of luck guys! You guys are the best fanbase of the 4 major blue bloods.

Good analysis. Roy also tinkered with the lineups that had been successful in Maui which he tends to do early in the season. Indiana was impressive. I agree with the part about pinson, he's a difference maker maybe we will meet again fully healthy.

Yeah, you guys need Pinson. I think Roy will probably start recruiting a little harder at the guard position too. UNC is thin there from what most us are used to seeing on your roster.
Nothing but praise for your team after that game from me, you guys earned it by hitting us in the mouth early and we really never recovered. Your guys had their wake up call last week, we got ours last night and as I said earlier today, if we have to take a loss then taking it at Assembly hall to what I think is one of the best teams in the country this season is not the worst thing that could happen.
I think what surprised me more than anything else was how our guards just did not seem able to penetrate and either finish or dish and how inactive our bigs were in helping each other. Now of course your guys had a lot to do with that but it was not our best effort by far.
Um, jkfootball, just a note you said " I think Roy will probably start recruiting a little harder at the guard position too. UNC is thin there..." not true, JBII, Nate, Kenny, Woods, Brandon, White and Coker if everyone fell out! 5-6 guys who are capable is not "thin".

Yeah, while our guards did not play well last night we not only have a very talented set of guards now we have even more on the way in Jalek and Plateck and Black & White the class after. WE do have a good bit of inexperience in our guards but they are very talented and games like last night are learning ops for them.
Thought that was supposed to be the game plan. Pound it inside make Bryant foul. Heard that everywhere.
That was my feeling too, Phly. I truly believe that Roy used this game as a teaching vehicle, knowing kids often learn more from hard lessons.
Can't shoot that bad and beat anybody. Hats off to IU, played a heck of a game. We need a rematch.
