....after watching and hearing the way he handled the screwjob he and his team were the victim of last night, and seeing his well-wishes for the CFP w/ Dabo, it is evident that despite any game-coaching shortcomings he has (and they are substantive and numerous), Larry Fedora is a class guy, class coach, and class man. Great program-builder, too. Superb representative of my alma mater.
I'm pretty sure I could not have resisted saying out loud what he, as a coach, has to know to be true: the $$ to the ACC if Clemson was assured to be in the CFP is simply too lucrative to allow them to lose late...if the fix NEEDED to be put in, it was going to be. It was needed, and was implemented. Might have cost me a $50k fine, but making $2M/yr, might've been worth it. Glad Larry held himself w/ dignity though, publicly....now privately, I hope he demands to hear the truth and makes the powers that be squirm and hate life for awhile.
