The two biggest questions for Penny:
1. Is he getting these kids cleanly?
2. Can he become a good enough coach to win big games?

Was really hoping UNC would’ve hired Stackhouse a few years ago ( on the staff). I think he could have the same effect with UNC that Penny will have at Memphis.
1. It takes a little more than that with kids like Wi$eman
2. Tubby would put on a coaching clinic over Penny. Penny better get all 5-star talent he can.
Absolutely. Like to see more fan bases with fun teams rather than just same old same old.... so long as we get our guys.
Memphis is a loyal fan base though, they deserve it. And I look forward to ESPN hyping their matchups rather than you-know-who’s.
All of us would if we waited to the last minute then changed our prediction.
I only mentioned this because people keep disparaging the CB. It's hardly omniscient. But it's a lot better than it gets credit for. Wiseman is just another case in point. They called this a good while back.
This one is a dagger to the heart of Kalipari, he was all but a Ky commit and Hardaway swoops in and not just takes him but took him for the program Kalipari came from (adding insult to injury as they say). How long before that Ky fan base really starts posting "for sell" signs in his yard like they did to Tubby? LOL

Maybe so, but they still got it right. So far they've gotten all but 1 right among the players we've offered.
I just think people should stop constantly saying they are a worthless source. Because that simply isn't true.
Now, whether you or I or anyone else chooses to pay any attention to them or not - that's entirely up to us. Some have their own sources. Some here are sources for people like me, but that's as close as I get to "knowing" any sources.
Speaking as someone who does not have his own sources, I like 247. Between them, this board, Pomeroy and TOS, I keep reasonably well informed. And have fun. Which is the point, isn't it?
