The news about Elliott Cadeau reclassifying garnered all the attention, but didn't Jarin Stevenson visit earlier this week? As quiet a visit as I can remember for a top 15 player. Anyone have any idea how it went?

I want him in Chapel Hill but would prefer if he stayed in the 2024 class tbh along with Ian Jackson, Drake Powell, and James Brown. That’s a #1 overall class 🔥
I'm torn. If he stays in 2024, there's always the chance he will decommit going elsewhere. Same as Ian Jackson. If he comes now at least we have a better chance at having him for his college career.

I am hopeful Jarin will decide to be a Tar Heel.
It could force him to stay in HS for his Senior year. Either school he is going to be playing behind someone.
What he said was he would announce after his school dismissed for summer, sometime after June 9.
Nelson has 2 years left, so if he scares off Stevenson, he presumably scares him off for both years he's considering.

I think I read he plans to give his final 3 list this week. Also that the final decision might not be long after that.
Who are the other 2 he's considering? Or is it the other 1 - if Alabama was in his original trio? Virginia?
Is UVa a good fit for him? Does he have good defensive chops?
I don't really care about freshmen recruits anymore (although I have high hopes for Cadeau). The new approach is get old dudes from the transfer portal that get most of the run. Our highly ranked recruits will transfer after one year because of little floor time. Then the next year we'll add other older dudes from the transfer portal that used to be highly ranked high school kids. The only guys that stick around for more than two years will be blue steel guys. Oh well ... I'm just old and like the way things used to be. Now get off my lawn. Go Heels !!!
