You would think they'd have to do some serious mental gymnastics and strategizing to get from Tatum's story about K cursing his entire team out and calling them worthless at his house at midnight, to painting K in a good light. They didn't.
They went straight to this, one single sentence later:
"It sounds both hilarious (from the outside) and brutal. Coach K absolutely had a way of getting his point across. And apparently it worked: Duke won the next seven games."
So the biggest star you have in the league just threw your HOF head coach under the bus, revealing him to be exactly what we've always known he is...and you find it "hilarious" and effective? Solid journalism.
