Thoughts on Trump's acknowledgement of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and decision to move the American embassy?

Got mixed feelings to some degree. Neither side has the moral hi ground. That ship sailed long time ago. This will stir shit up. While i do recognize the value of israel as an ally, Americans will die as a result of this decision. Either in terror attacks or on the battlefield. Prob both. Is it worth it? Not to me. I say fuk em all. Bunch of religous fanatics screaming at each other how their god of peace and love is better than the others god of peace and love and if u dont agree by god we’ll kill u.

Well, I'm not sure what they're proposing to do, but sitting in rural NC is safer than sitting on Allahu Ackbar Avenue in Jerusalem. If the embassy has been in a safe place so far, why move it now if it puts them in aplace, geographically, that makes them more likely to be a target.

No, I don't believe "every evil in the world" is caused by the same thing. Not even remotely. But, when it comes to war? I know for a fact that they are fought to increase the wealth, influence and property of a few at the expense of many. Now, it is vital to pitch the ruse as some noble and heroic endeavor to get the "brave men and women" to actually show up and slaughter each other time after time. And, that gimmick works well, and we have people like you to thank for that. Wars are expensive, and they have to pay off to make them worthwhile.

Japan and Germany didn't start a war. They were just looking for business opportunities through aggressive mergers. The west started the war by denying them that business opportunity.
To follow his logic one step further, I guess we should all still be pissed even though none of us were alive for it - and be expected to go blow ourselves up in Japan and Germany to "get back at them".
I have to agree here. We should pull out of every foreign country and protect the homeland. Israel can fend for itself. They have the best trained armed forces in the world. If we turn them loose and take off the handcuffs they will be fine.
I have decided that I don't have the time or desire to care about this shit anymore.
