Liver cancer has spread to other parts of his body... Very sad. Plans to have surgery and aggressive treatment... Best of luck to him.

I just realized he's 90!!! I didn't know he was that old! He was married the year my mother was born! My mom is 69! Married for 69 years! WOW!
Cancer is usually nonaggressive in people that age. I haven't read anything specific on his type of cancer or his situation, but most likely, something else will get him before the cancer. I mean, he's 90. But it will certainly decrease his quality of life down the stretch. I hate that for him. While his time as President is generally regarded as lackluster, he's also generally regarded as a terrific human being. Good luck to him.
