Now this is the best one I've heard all day. LOLOLOLOL25 MPG 10 PPG 5 APG 45/38/81 shooting line
Hmm... what's so funny about that? Actually, pretty good starting medians if someone wanted to make a prediction. Now this is the best one I've heard all day. LOLOLOLOL
Yea I didn't get his comment either? Berry is going to be the 5th scoring option out of the starting 5 due to the style of play heavily leaning on the big men along with the fact Jackson and Paige are better scorers on the perimeter. If he gives UNC 10 PPG 5 APG with those shooting lines and a 2/1 AST/TO ratio. UNC is going to have a very good season.Hmm... what's so funny about that? Bingo. (disclaimer - as long as Roy hasn't taken leave of his senses) Berry will be piloting a loaded lineup.Yea I didn't get his comment either? Yep. Create pressure on the opposition by hounding the primary ball handler on defense and pushing the tempo on offense as much as possible.Bingo. (disclaimer - as long as Roy hasn't taken leave of his senses) Berry will be piloting a loaded lineup.
Now, I will say this: Anyone who knows anything about JB's background knows he has the chops to be a team's leading scorer --- and his offensive capabilities guarantee nobody can afford to back off of him or double down --- but on this team he could be the 4th or 5th scorer, and as long as he plays the role of floor general and on-ball defender, those are the key ingredients needed to lead us back to the promised land.
Indeed. Make that Secondary Break hum. Kennedy's outlet passes / Berry, Marcus and JJ in transition / Brice sprinting to the block --- now that's gonna be fun.Yep. Create pressure on the opposition by hounding the primary ball handler on defense and pushing the tempo on offense as much as possible.
Dang, jericho, if we get that you can go ahead and reserve a spot in the case for that big ol' NCAA trophy...28.7 MPG - 12.8 PPG - 7.6 APG - 2.2 SPG - 1.7 ToPG - 2.9 RPG - 49% - 37% - 82%

yep...and thus my "if Roy hasn't taken leave of his senses" disclaimer above.I agree, I'd be very happy with that stat line from Joel. I'm really hoping Roy will start him from day one this year. I think we'd see his play blossom if he did.
Would rather he doesn't mirror Jones' game but plays his own which is very different.IMHO. He should try and mirror Tyus Jones' Freshman year if he's smart. But try and be better. Try and prove why many Heel fans had him as the better player coming out of HS.
Spot on, Dave.I do want to see him play with the confidence of knowing he has been handed the keys to run the show as our PG. I felt most of the season last he was a bit tentative, looking over his shoulder trying to feel out and understand his role. This season, I think he will know his role, know he has Roy's full confidence and plays with that swagger I watched him play with before coming to UNC.
More worried about his health than his confidence and dedication.
Cue the game show winners' bell (Ding Ding Ding!).If Berry were to get hurt, we are the same team as last year. A lot has to go right to win a chip and Berry being solid is at the top of the list.
Because I am sold his confidence is sky high now and his dedication isn't wavering. Thus, his health (which has struck him before) is my more immediate concern. Why?
