I just saw where Joel is listed as questionable tonight. He played
13 good minutes on Saturday and didn't seem to be in pain. Did
I miss something or is it required to be listed since he was out
for a few weeks?

No idea but we could use him some tonight. Their bigs like to get physical and push guys around.

This is called fouling. It is against the rules.

Ha! seems simple enough, right? If only it were this simple, as it should be.....

.. instead of the officials taking into account factors that they SHOULDN'T
...ie who is at home,
who just lost a big game,
who is more talented and what needs to happen to keep the lesser talented team close......
who just has a style of playing more physical contact (FOULING) brand of basketball,

and what % of the time do you call the fouls, because "you can't just saddle guys who are fouling with a load of fouls in the first half, right?"

I still remember the game at UNC where the refs called a decent percentage of Klempsum's endless fouls and they ended up the game with only 4 guys on the court. And note, I said the refs only called a "decent percentage" of the CU fouls, or they would have had NO ONE left.

Not sure what got into the officials that game, but it is exactly how referees should deal with teams/coaches that play hockey on the basketball court. To do less is to reward cheating by coaches who teach fouling as a strategy.

In our last game vs BC similar officiating would have DQ'd most of their players, and rightfully so.
