Man, the paws are starting to get to me, too. I'm getting a hankering to maybe move to Hendersonville, or Asheville. I dunno... Clemson is one of the most uninteresting universities I've ever seen. And the orange everywhere is just disgusting. UGA and Athens is a bit more endearing, however.

Agreed. I actually used to like VT when my sister was a student there and even up until just after the Mike Vick years. Then they got too big for their britches and I loathe them now.

I did ten years in easley sc. Bout 45 min from clemson ifirc. Freaking shyt hole. I was walking distance from the short track and saw dale and gordon and all the bigs helicopter in to practice for some race in virginia that had a similar track or some kind of bs like that. Hell i dont know.

You sure it was Sleazely and was it 10 years? Easley's maybe 15-20 mins from the campus.

I live in Central, which is for all intents and purposes the same place as Clempsun. Before here I lived right outside of Columbia so unfortunately I've spent my entire life behind enemy lines. The only team I hate more than USuCk is dook. They've even got NCeSt beat.

And guitar playing independents aren't that rare.

Nooo, I don't charge that for the guitars. Those guys encase them in the glass showcase and they also have autographed memorabilia inside as well.

I can sell you a Monterey painted body and pickguard for $575. You can put your own neck and parts on it and in it. Or, if you want a totally complete Strat it would be $950

I dunno if it will help you, but I don't "play shows" anymore. I haven't "played a show" in probably 18 years now. The last "show" I played, in a working band, was at the Double Door in Charlotte (when there was only one DD) and, that was in 1996. I played with Les Moore at quite a few open-mike Sundays there until I moved in 1999 to the Greenville area in SC. I didn't play another "show" until this past January when I helped out a friend perform at her Catholic parish's "60's Coffee Shop Acoustic Night" where we played, as a duet. She plays concert violin and viola and we did a killer instrumental of Eleanor Rigby. We also did Big Yellow Taxi, Homeward Bound, and I forget the others.

13 years in Easley for me. Between the lamecock and clumpson fans it was AWFUL! Good fishing-hunting and I like the races at GP, fun to watch.
