Big blow to UVA and what looked like a top 3 team next season. I'd lower them a few spots if I were ranking today.

I'm surprised by it. He looked so bad down the stretch.

This is HUGE for us.

He's going. Meeting with agents this week. His stock would drop significantly next year and he's already behind the 8-ball with his smallish stature. He has to go.

Agree, and glad he's going!

Now, if he'll just pack up Matt Jones and take him along, I could be real happy . .

Heard a rumor that Jones may be shopping agents as well . . . anyone else hearing the same . . ?

Definitely saps an offensive weapon from a team that could at times be offensively challenged.

Funny, had a HS friend who is a UVA alum tell me at mid-season he thought Anderson was more likely than Brogdon to leave early, turns out he was right. Brogdon is a top-flight student, so it was no huge surprise when he announced back in March he was staying... but when Anderson started heating up early for the cavs I guess the talk up there was already starting.

Anderson is the more draftable of the two because of his athleticism. But I think Brogdon might have a longer and more productive NBA career. He's so intelligent that he'll find a way to stick in the league for 10+ years. Kind of Shane Battier like.

He's such a well rounded young man. I like him so much I wish we had recruited him.

Couldn't have said it better, dick, on all counts. Down here in ATL I've heard nothing but good things about him going back to his recruitment.

Brogdon has been their glue guy . while Anderson their best athlete...... he will be missed A LOT

I think UVA will be just fine, to be honest. They run a system that gives them a pretty big margin for error, IMO. They lost Joe Harris to graduation and seemed to not even miss a beat (and he was their go-to guy the year before last). I think the biggest problem for UVA is the fact that Perentes (spell?) never shoots. He seems to have a solid shot, when he actually decides to take one. Him being passive (pun intended) allows the defense to zero-in on stopping everyone else.

UVA is gonna be relevant for a long time with Bennett there, even though their style of play is brutal to watch.

Might as well take Grayson also.

Yep. Nothing makes you more vulnerable to upsets than that boring ass walk the ball up the court-1920's-race to 50 style they play

Definitely surprised by this one! On all of UVa's roster, I thought that Brogden would've been the one more likely to leave. I guess Anderson got the "Kendall Marshall" bug in that he went before he should've because of an injury.
