Where will Jackson get drafted and which team(s) provide the best fit for his skill set?

I see Justin in a Danny Green type role wherever he goes. Teams that need that off the top of my head:

Detroit at 12, Denver at 13, Bulls at 16, Hawks at 19, Thunder at 21.

Really like him at 21 getting some Russ kick outs.

Some mock drafts have him going to OKC. I think he would complement Russ very well.

Excellent shooter, strong defender. OKC, Houston, Bulls if they trade Butler (have got to replace scoring). Hornets could trade MKG and get more scoring with JJ.

JJ's floater is going to determine his success in the NBA.

Just like all Tar Heels, I would prefer he get a coach that knows how to develop players and utilize their strengths! Pop or Stevens would be my preference, but realistically if he is drafted by Charlotte or OKC he will get a real chance to shine too!

I think Justin offers far more scoring than Danny has ever offered or will ever offer. By the same token, I don't think he'll ever be the defender that Danny is or the Swiss army knife kind of player that Danny is.

I think he would fit good in Denver

Maybe so. But that franchise is pretty lackluster all the way around.

They where 9th this year in the hardcore West.

Murray, Harris, Kenneth..they have talent. Danilo averaged 18 at SF but he most likely leaving so its going to be a huge hole. Their wild card is Emmanual at PG. He can grow to be a better star player or bigger bust. So I like the pieces they have.

Not like they are the T-Wolves and are just under-performing with talent.

For some reason Faried was in the dog house all year. Don't forget their big man, Jokic. Nuggets have a few good young pieces and would be a nice landing spot for Justin, to fill in for Danilo and Chandler. I was so mad when the Bulls traded up for McDermott. I wanted to stand pat and take Harris, and low and behold the Nuggets take him with one of the picks they traded. idiots.

To talk about the Nuggets and not mention Jokic is crazy. He's one of the 10 best young players in basketball.

But that Twolves team is infinitely more entertaining. I don't watch regular season NBA games often but I'd be far more inclined to watch a Twolves game than I would a Nuggets game. That Denver franchise has been so blah since AI and Melo left. I didn't know that they finished 9th in the west but I might have guessed it. That's exactly what I think of the Nuggets if I think of them at all - not great, not terrible, no star power and no reason to watch; just kind of there.

Nice find! I enjoyed reading the complete evaluation of JJ and I agreed with most of it. I do think they seem to not be giving his floater enough respect though! I think this and his pull up will be real weapons in the NBA!

Great Tar Heel and perfect representative of the Tar Heel Family!

As a Kentucky fan I don't pull for UNC. Just like you the UNC fans don't pull for us. However, I do pull for Justin Jackson. After hearing him after your championship game win. I became a huge Justin Jackson fan. Hope he has a 15 year NBA career & earns $200 million dollars. What an awesome, 1st class young man. God bless him..... But then he already has.

"He", not he. But I love your post.

Spurs don't need another SF. They need a SG. They currently have danny playing out of position at SG.

Kawhi can play the 2. He already does. Besides, they need another scorer from the perimeter.

JJ's size would add to their defensive philosophy.

I haven't seen kawhi play the 2 much this season. Mainly the 3 or 4.
