Simms is expected to visit Ole Miss this weekend. He's among a few LBs in the mix there, but he reportedly isn't their top priority, there are at least two other LBs Ole Miss wants ahead of Simms. That said, the understanding is the staff would take him, but would rather wait on a commitment.
Also, The Oregonian, the metro newspaper for the Portland area, reported Wednesday that Simms has narrowed his top 2 to Oregon and Virginia Tech.
The paper reported on Oregon's in-house visit Tuesday: "The Oregon Ducks put on a full-court press to land Rivals four-star linebacker Keith Simms on Tuesday evening, as head coach Mark Helfrich, defensive coordinator Brady Hoke, linebacker coach Don Pellum and defensive line coach Ron Aiken all traveled to Bethesda, Maryland to try to close the 6-foot-3, 225-pound defender."
