Ken Stabler . . . RIP

It is being reported that the 'Snake' has passed . .

The combo of Stabler to Fred Biletnikoff just seemed to never end.

One of my first real footballs, without white stripes, was a Wilson football that had Stabler's autograph under the Wilson logo. I was maybe 9 or 10.

Grew up watching this guy sling it, although I really only remember his days with the Oilers and the Saints. RIP.

He was my favorite QB. Always felt the Raiders had a chance to come back and win with the Snake leading the charge.

I will always remember his showdowns with Greise and Bradshaw. Classic NFL at its best. RIP.

Wasn't a raider fan,but gotta gve credit were credit is due,Stabler was one Gutsy QB.Then again he had one hell of a mentor at Alabama. RIP Snake.
