I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but if we're going to make the final four, I feel we're going to need at least one big game from him. And by a big game, I mean 14 pts, 8 rbs. Something like that. If we're going to win it all, I think he's going to need more than one big game.

I feel Hicks will play himself off the floor in at least one game. There maybe a game where Brice gets into foul trouble (although he's been terrific at staying out of foul trouble of late).

There's a part of me that hopes I'm wrong because he doesn't look physically or mentally able to produce like that in a "have to have it" moment. But I think we will need it at least one or two times this tournament.

I agree. He's going to need to watch film and fix his flaws in practice/scrimmage. I think if he stays for his SR year he'll be even better. Conditioning will do the trick this summer.

he sucks...it's not so much soft as he is unathletic and hasn't evolved, at all.

he can't even use his best asset, the outlet pass, because he doesn't get a lot of boards.

I can't guarantee he'll be on the Heels next year (although I expect he will be), he could decide he's done with college for whatever reason. I can guarantee he won't be playing in the NBA though.

Meeks is fine folks....He will make plays when we need him....hicks and Meeks will be monsters next year in the panit...
I would settle for a solid senior season from Meeks, he seems to have limitations that would hinder the chances of him having a "monster season in the paint".

Many kids get summer jobs painting houses to raise money that is kennedy's meek best opportunity to be a monster in the paint

Kennedy is physically limited. But he is an important asset to this team. His 10 PPG, 6 RPG, and 58% FG in only 21 MPG are very undervalued by many. And he is a very positive team member, something which is often overlooked. Much like Nate, his value far exceeds his numbers, IMO.

That's fine Archer but at some point he has to man up under the basket and stop wasting very good opportunities - or it's going to cost us bigtime.

I cannot even count the number of times in the last 3 games that he has received a good entry pass within 3 feet of the basket - then it's the same garbage: hesitation, lean right, lean left, look to pass out, bring the ball down, hesitate again, and again, then finally make a desperate off-balance move toward the rim that results in A) the ball hitting the bottom of the rim and KM falls down.. B) the defender blocking the shot and KM falls down.. or C) a deflected pass attempt that results in a turnover and KM falls down. It's so predictable.

What are you saying? You got an issue with people falling down? After three FGC clowns club him to death, yeah I'd fall down too.

That's Kennedy's m.o., pretty much. He does have the occasional turn-around shot.

Pretty much sums up Meeks' games perfectly, unfortunately.

And yet, here he is, averaging 10 pts and almost 7 boards a game shooting over 55%. Leading the team in blocks.

I agree. And I think he'll come through.

Tyler Davis the Freshman center for Texas A & M is who Meeks should aspire to be. Big booty with no lift whatsoever, but moves galore and tough as they come.
