I might have but this UK team is way overrated. No way Utah valley state should be hanging with UK in the second half at rupp.
I bet they wish they would have got Cam Johnson instead of Kevin Knox. I'm sure glad we got Cam.
We see this thread every year "Kentucky down by X to [Underdog Team]". Then they proceed to go on a 20-0 run to start the 2nd half. Why not hold off on this "overrated" talk until a few more games played.
Or at least wait til the end of the dern game.
I'm sick of these super teams like sucky and dook! Give me the Luke Mayes of the world and to hell with these rent a player teams and their rent a fan nations! It would be alright with me if they never won a game again and for some of the things these programs have been getting away with should have all wins last 15 years vacated! I woke up pissed this morning for some reason even though the big win at Pitt and last night made me feel a little better. Good effort by our STUDENT-ATHLETES last night, couldn't be prouder!
Give UK credit. They don’t normally lose to far inferior teams like Lehigh or Mercer.

Kentuck looked like what they are, a team of individuals with vastly disparate agendas. If Slimy can get them going in the same direction, they will be pretty good, but they do have some serious flaws on D and with perimeter shooting.

Wow that Utah valley state team was tough. The dookies put a 100 on them and beat them by 30. If this Kensucky team played in the acc they wouldn't finish in the top 5 of the acc. Those hasbeens have benefited by playing in that mid major league the sec forever.
Or you could say they look like a team playing 6 freshman and one sophomore that didn’t play a whole lot last year. I kno that’s crazy but it’s just a thought.

The downside of a revolving door of players even when they’re among the best there is. Hard to generate chemistry and cohesiveness. Heck if it werent for a freak athlete who literally grew a foot in a year to become a guard in a forwards body they wouldnt have won the only title they did in this oad era.
You understand Vermont is a good team right? Should we beat them by more than 3? Yes! But they are a senior lead team that won 29 games last year and made the NCAA tourney. So you know anything about them or do you only see the name Vermont and think they are horrible?
What does Davis growing a foot have to do with anything? If you wanna use “if’s” and “buts” we could list reason why UNC and UK have each of their titles.
Lighten up Francis.....Top 5 Kentucky almost got upset at home by unranked Vermont....what do you expect fans of opposing teams to say....WOW....Kentucky played lights out vs Vermont yesterday....they are going to be frickin unbeatable???? Kentucky looked like what they are....a bunch of young athletes that have no chemistry at all.....of course by the time tournament rolls around, and since the majority of their players will not be taking classes 2nd semester, Cal will have time to work on those issues!!!!

Vermont is easily one of the best mid majors in the country this year. KenPom has them 70 and guarantee that ends up closer to 45 by years end.

Eh, I have to watch all of the UK games due to the wife and in-laws so I lurk there to see what they are saying about their team and etc. But I just laugh at their blind hatred and obsession with UNC. It's pretty damn comical honestly.
Bucknell, despite their record, is a better team than No. Iowa and that will be proven throughout the year. Bucknell is still the odds on favorite to win their league. The culture of that program is one of grittiness, discipline and intelligence. They played well last night. I would not want to see them as a 15 seed in March.
I'll still never forget the 05 Tourney which I remember fondly of course given that we won our fourth title.
But in that year both Bucknell and Vermont upset Kansas and Syracuse respectively in tightly contested games. Two very respectable mid-majors.
