Kentucky vs. ND

Does anyone think the Irish have a chance against Kentucky?? I do not , just don't think it is a matchup that favors ND in any way. I would have to take the Wildcats over the field hands down at this point even vs. dook and the 3 officials that will be in there fighting for them.

They have a chance. A slim-to-none chance, but it's a chance. Although, I will admit, as much as I think Kentucky is the King Team this year, I would not be shocked if the Irish win. There are a lot of Rosaries being rubbed!

IF ND makes 12-15 three pointers they stand a great chance - if 10 or less don't see it happening

I agree, they'd have to make a pile of three's and hope UK is off badly. I think the Wildcat size will just be too much.

I watched the UGA game and they did a good job of pulling the bigs out and driving or back door plays
ND is capable of this plus hitting a high percentage of 3's - this could be a trap game and i was hoping to see this match up

hope it is competitive - but agree the size and quickness of the bigs is daunting

Amazing that a team that got taken to the buzzer against scrub teams like LSU, A&M and Georgia got crowned before the tournament even started. Not like Cal has always delivered when hes had the best team

That is the point my wife made.

But ND's legs were too tired at the end - you could see it in Grant especially.

Right now, I despise UK more than I despise Dook. Dook is not paid for by World Wide Wes.

Until Grant tried to do to much 1 on 1 and they missed 3 huge FTs late.

Wisky is playing great and you know they want some revenge from last year!

No, the timeout mistake was the one they used with 29 seconds left on the shot clock and working to get the across mid court .. he panicked there and called it too soon. He sure needed one in the end but he also needed to stop the UK run with 90 seconds left, which worked as ND came back out and hit a three.

Missed FTs!!!!! HOW many time has that KILLED us this year and in previous years ????Looking at this years NCAA it is amazing how GREAT not good but GREAT some of these teams shoot FTS


I believe I saw a thread where in 3 of our key losses ,ND ( ACC Tourney)dook and Wicsy the teams shot a combined 87% from the line against us. THAT is really good

Kentucky didn't miss a FG in the last 12 minutes. They took a punch, responded when they didn't play all that well. Impressive stuff from them.

was such a tough game, one of the few I seen the freshmen playing like freshmen. As much as towns killed them on O he killed us on D. Noticed that when Cal started taking Towns out on D Uk was able to start chipping away.

Looks like Aaron Harrison is still in good form with that late 3 against the Irish, and bet Wisconsin doesn't give him a good look this year at a game winner, since he sent them home last year in the Final 4!

As for Kentucky, Carl Anthony Townes is just a man amongst boys down low, and Willy-Caulie Stein is one of the best shot blockers in the College game.....I hate to admit it, but Kentucky has a hellava basketball team when those guards are hitting 3s.....

Wisconsin and Kentucky round 2 could be as good as last year's matchup that Kentucky won in Overtime, but I'm hoping for a different result this time around as I'm sure are the Badgers and their fans!
