All indications of Knox' recruitment have been that it's going to be a late decision for the 2017 prospect. Possibly, one of the latest to commit in the entire class. Roster shape will be important and specifically, playing with a good point guard as well as watching how players of similar position are utilized.
His current list is FSU, UK, UNC and Duke. Knox has maintained that each of the four schools will get an official and unofficial visit before he makes a decision.
Kentucky - Took unofficial visit on October 14th, 2016.
- Official visit scheduled for the weekend of January 28th, 2017
Florida State - Took unofficial visit on November 26th.
- Official visit scheduled for weekend of January 7th, 2017.
Duke - Scheduled to take an unofficial visit December 28th, 2016.
- Took official visit weekend of October 28th, 2016.
UNC - Took unofficial visit December 27th, 2016.
- Official visit scheduled for weekend of February 4th, 2017.
Kentucky's pitch has been that Kevin won't see the paint of he goes to UK. Calipari has even mentioned to him that he could see time at the 2.
For Duke, it's been the recent run of successful WF. Jabari Parker, Brandon Ingram, Justise Winslow and now Jayson Tatum.
For UNC, it's all about Justin Jackson. At different points of this recruitment Roy Williams has also mentioned Harrison Barnes to his pitch for Knox. Most recently, Williams has mentioned that he's a combination of Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson.
For FSU, he could go there and be the man right away. Knox Sr played college football under legendary coach Bobby Bowden but has maintained that he's letting his son make the decision that's best for him.
As @ClintJackson1 has recently said on this board, it appears that the recruitment for Knox is trending in the direction of Duke.
