Looks like Roy is going hard after the kid. Contacts him everyday. Kobi stated style of play is a primary factor on where he goes. Him and Roy talked and length about the up tempo pace.

Yeah, talented kid for sure but I don't think he is in our future as much as I see Dennis Smith or Matt Coleman.

I hope Roy does go after Simmons. And Hard. He's my fav PG in the 2016 class, mainly because he can play both PG and SG at 6'5.

Plus, I haven't see any indication that Dennis Smith is leaning towards UNC. Simmons recruitment seems to be wide open, so it'd be a good time to get in on him now.

Like what i'm seeing from his mixtapes. LOVE that he's 6'5" and has pretty good handles. Wherever he lands, he will need some major bulk added.
