Annnd it's done. Washington with the upset.... not gonna jinx it, just might wanna check it out.
Yeah, dook is the team to beat. It’s them and everybody else. I don’t think they’ll lose a game this year.
Start printing the tee shirts now.Not only that, they will not lose any next year. Looks like about 80-0 and two Natties.
That ain't gonna happen. They are zone or bust.If Duke starts playing D they are not beatable.
Michigan State is better then either one. They were my #1 coming in and nothing has happened to change that. Only an unconscious shooting performance by Tripper, and a very bad Zone attack plan by Izzo allowed dook to escape that game.I personally think Duke is clearly behind 'Nova at this point, though they are extremely talented.

Put Bridges to work from the Short Corner against dook's pourous zone instead of standing outside and jacking up 3s and none of that rescues them.To be fair, Duke only had Bagley for 10 minutes in that game.
MSU is definitely very good. I'd have them #2, then Duke #3.
Caveat there is Zags are nowhere close to last year's edition. Few will have them good by March but they have a LOOONG way to go.Gotta agree, with Nova's win over the Zags, they gotta move to No.2 followed by Mich St.
Yeah, I see what they did thereI love all this Duke praise! 80-0 wow!
For real though, there are about 60 teams right now that could beat Duke on any given night. Going down double digits to multiple unranked teams is a worrisome sign regardless of the outcome. Gonna come down to how much they improve on D by the end of the year. I don't think Duke will lose in Cameron though.
maybe, normally the Duke teams that go out in the first weekend are seriously flawed and rely on 3 point shooting. When Duke has good big men they seem to do well in the tournament but that being said if they don't fix their defense I agree they could lose in the sweet 16 or elite 8 to a team that can keep up offensively.Yeah, I see what they did there...
The bad news is that Bagley and Carter do make dook uncharacteristically formidable up front. Sadly dook wil be a force to be reckoned with. That being said, yes --- they are vulnerable for a variety of reasons and could easily be a top-5 team all season and then a 1st or 2nd weekend NCAA exit candidate.
Yeah, they are quite the role-reversal of typical dook teams in that they don't live and die by the 3. However, this edition is seriously --- and I mean seriously --- flawed defensively. K is playing so much Zone by necessity because they just can't guard anybody man-up. As you said, if a smaller, quicker team can take advantage and get a lead and force dook to chase, that could become an issue. If so, then they could easily lose a 1 v 8 matchup in the second round, or more likely in the second weekend.maybe, normally the Duke teams that go out in the first weekend are seriously flawed and rely on 3 point shooting. I agree, and I don't want to hijack this thread or anything but... Duke has shown the ability to lock down and play defense (usually in the last 5 minutes) that gives me some hope that they will turn it around. This is my biggest pet peeve about OAD basketball, these freak offensive talents come in with no idea how to play team defense. In the past it wouldn't be an issue because they could learn and after a year or two contribute on both ends of the court but these days they're in their 2nd year of the NBA. This is why I wish the NBA would stop drafting on potential and passing on guys who are ready to contribute right away, Brogdon for example. You won't get any argument from me on OAD basketball, and Brogdon is a great example of what they should be coveting.I agree, and I don't want to hijack this thread or anything but...
