I would not be surprised if he coaches them to the first undefeated season since Indiana in 1976.

Do you think they're good enough to go undefeated AND win the natty? We've seen a couple teams recently get to the tourney unscathed (Witchita State, Kentucky) but they couldn't close the deal.

Don't think we'll see an undefeated season again. If UK couldn't do it with the NBA roster they had, it can't be done. Even with SMU's weak sked, they won't do it.

Brown is an NCAA violation waiting to happen everywhere he's gone. Still, he may be the best use coach I've ever seen

They are banned from postseason play this year.

Yeah and think that Brown was suspended for the first 9 games of the season...

I know Larry was a Tar Heel at one point in time, but he became bitter toward UNC when he was passed over after Dean left, so I could really care less what he does at SMU or anywhere else for that matter...

As mentioned above, it was only a matter of time before he got SMU into trouble with the NCAA....Roy Williams' first head coaching job at Kansas began with the Jayhawks on probation, thanks to Larry Brown!

He's a great College Coach who will do whatever it takes to win, whether or not it's legal or illegal, has mattered not to Brown thru the years, and that's precisely the reason that he wasn't considered as a choice to replace Dean Smith when he retired...
