...and I'll make this very quick.

- Let's get this outta the way: What a lame zebra crew. I've seen these jabronies more than I care to in local games down here --- sure hope we don't get them again in Maui.

- OK... so, I liked the effort and the fact we took a trap game serioiusly, BUT... very lazy on seeing man-and-ball in the 1st half, especiallhy by our 4/5 guys. Fortunately, that improved MARKEDLY in the 2nd.

- Still frustrated watching our Zone Offense. JWash in particular should be a weapon in the 10-12 ft areas.

- On the other hand, JWash was a different player in the 2nd half on defense and rebounding. Really stepped up vs their bulky Big. Also liked the delayed doubles we deployed.

- Much better tonight on not forcing in transition (kudos to Seth for giving up the rock), all the while we were being appropriately aggressive taking it to the rack and running after made shots.

- Want to see more Tyson, and earlier.

- RJ played much more in the flow this time.

- Finally, any more questions as to who drives this team? The difference when EC being in or not is, well, striking. He is exactly what I told y'all he was when we signed him.

Anyway, good warm-up for the most loaded Maui Invitational field ever. Hopefully we come outta the gate a tad stronger Monday and keep the intensity going...

Someone needs to talk to whoever is responsible for keeping the official stats. Cadeau has been screwed out of his assist total in every game this year.

Rebounding and reaching in fouls are definetely areas that needs to be addressed in tomorrows practice

RJ passed up a lot of good looks from the outside.

IMO Ian and Drake needed more playing time in the second half. RJ should have sat for another 5-7 game minute’s tonight

Withers was so frustrated tonight that it affected his whole game on both sides of the ball. He alone took himself out of the game mentally. He had a terrible game all the way around.

Besides finding teammates with nifty assists, Elliot’s drives to the basket are the aspect of
his game that make him unique. Right hand, left hand; it doesn’t matter, he’s getting to that rim.
Seth has been so steady and effective on both ends of the floor that he’s becoming indispensable.

RJ had a great game, which is our expectation after watching him in his fifth season.
He probably won’t surpass Psycho T on the all-time scoring list, but it won’t be for lack
of effort. He is a five-star baller, full stop. Both Capt. Jack and Drake are dynamic athletes
and deserve more time on the floor and Cade was very effective; he’s figuring things out. 😁
Jalen’s role on the team needs to expand offensively by getting him jump shots along the
baseline.

The rebounding differential kept the Rainbows in the game; that’s an area of concern for the rest
of the Maui trip and needs to be addressed. Hubert is utilizing a variety of lineups to highlight
our depth and wear down the opposition. It is our biggest strength and affords us our best chance to
be successful this season.
