I'd like to know how serious a player we are for Alkins. Dude's a beast. A commitment from him would make us all forget about Giles, Markkenan and anybody else that spurned us.
I think he's open. A lot of experts link this recruitment with Jaylen Brown last year. No one would of thought Cal for him.
That's premi info...................... I'll give you a run down on how many from each class.
2016-4 includes Bradley & Robinson
2017-3 including Felton
2018-2
2019-1
This is the only class that matters right now. We don't have the luxury of worrying about future classes right now. Kind of disappointing that we have only 4 coming from the 2016 class and 2 of them are already locked up. I think Azubuike is another and Rawle is the last. I'm not feeling great about the last 2. It's looking more and more like we're going to have just a class of 2 in 2016 when we needed 4 or 5.

Just getting a hunch that we get an Azubuike commitment shortly after LNWR.
That certainly would make me feel a lot better. I think we have a ways to go with him though because we got involved so late.
I mean...how much more do we really have to do? In home a few weeks back then an official at our biggest event of the year. Not much more we can do to convince a kid ya know.
I get your point that it started very late but he's gotten the full UNC treatment over the last 6 weeks or so.
Hope he takes a real good look at how our Bigs have developed as compared to others. And also, we are an "inside-out" team on the O end. He has to love that!
Mikey, if we can snag this kid, we would have 2 of Wendal Carter's AAU teammates, that would be a strong pull to make it a trio !
We had 8 for BBM, Rawle wasn't invited. (maybe later)
We are feeling good about Fox and Monk...nothing sure in this business.
You have as good a chance as anyone. Some guys will wait 'til Spring...time won't hurt in your case.

I wouldn't say that!!..alot of kids who visited lnwr several times were thought to be unc locks but ended up going elsewhere...maybe it's good that he's not coming!!
He was never planning on coming. I take nothing out of that. He doesn't want to tip his hand before Nov 11th and coming to late night would definitely be tipping his hand.
Yes both are very talented..... BJ Mack also a 2019 kid from Charlotte will be there.
