I think he might have a chance to make a roster because of his defense.
I think he was dis-served at UNC. They only focused on his defensive prowess and never coached him up to develop his offensive handle and quickness to attack the the rim and dish or finish. Obviously didn't work with him on his jump shot mechanics either .. but with his measurable s a good eye and coach could likely make him a really good player .. but he'll have to start with his mentality and approach to the game cause aggression doesn't seem to be in his nature. jmo
Andrew Wiggins still put up numbers even without a jump shot, I see the comparison, but Andrew Wiggins bar may be way to high to think of Leaky.I mean Andrew Wiggins had no type of jump shot when he enter the level but developed it over the years and his career had turned out fine. I always thought Leaky would be a good to great 3 and D guy. Kyle Anderson, didn't have a outside jumper but at his size he's doing well too. JS.
Andrew Wiggins was the #1 ranked recruit in the class of 2013. He averaged nearly 21 points per game in his one college season, while shooting 34% from 3 on 4.5 attempts per game. Then he was drafted #1 overall at the age of 19.I mean Andrew Wiggins had no type of jump shot when he enter the level but developed it over the years and his career had turned out fine. I noticed you added the word "just" three and D guys. They compare in athletic ability, I'm sure there career averages while Vince was in his prime are comparable.
"Just" 3 and D guys are your line!
Leaky doesn't compare in athletic ability to Carter. It's not even close.I noticed you added the word "just" three and D guys. They compare in athletic ability, I'm sure there career averages while Vince was in his prime are comparable.

What game are you watching that you can't make a comparison of two 6'9 guys. Or maybe be it is your added word play that you can't imagine. I'll move on.You can word it how you want and it still would be just as ridiculous ..lol
I would say if Hubert turned Leaky in to Wiggins or Anderson he would be more a coaching savant than a guy that sucks! LOLWow, Leaky’s NBA comps are now Andrew Wiggins and Kyle Anderson.
Jeez, Hubert must REALLY suck.
Wiggins is a thousand times more talented than Leaky and can be a 22-25 ppg scorer on a bad NBA team. Kyle Anderson has a really unique skillset for someone his size. Wasn’t he also a too 5 recruit? So he was considered much more talented too.
No. Bridges was almost a 50/40/90 guy in college and he shot 44% from 3 as a junior. Bridges was an elite shooting prospect coming out of college.Could his ceiling be Bridges with Nets?
Similar frames, not great shooters coming out of college, both known for defensive side of ball but Bridges has blossomed to say the least.
I agree. You see my Shaun Livingston comp? What you think? No. Bridges was almost a 50/40/90 guy in college and he shot 44% from 3 as a junior. Bridges was an elite shooting prospect coming out of college.
Leaky's NBA comps are Andre Roberson and Matisse Thybulle. And there isn't anything wrong with that.
Livingston was really skilled. He was a 6'7" PG with legitimate PG skills. And he was skilled enough where he could mask his inability to shoot 3's and developed an elite post-up game. I don't think Leaky is that. But I understand where your heads at. Limited shooter/scorer, hopefully figures out an offensive niche to not be a complete liability. I don't know what the offensive niche will be.I agree. You see my Shaun Livingston comp? What you think?
True but I also think that could be Leakys ceiling. He’s got some decent pg skills and the nba is spread out and could help him a little more.Livingston was really skilled. I think Thybulle is a pretty good comp for him and a good aim point.
Or Wiggins.Leaky doesn't compare in athletic ability to Carter. It's not even close.
