LeAkY iS aN NbA PrOsPeCT!!!!

Leaky is proof that experience can be utterly meaningless. How are you afraid of the basketball in your 12th year in college?

I've said it often... I dunno how you can be so effective as a lock-down defender and so timid and have no confidence at all on offense.
He is wide open all the time because he can't shoot and the fact that every look he gets is wide open and he hasn't improved is very alarming!

It's not alarming to me. He's not that great of a shooter. He never has been. He is a great defensive player.

UNC just struggles immensely on offense. They're terribly inconsistent. Hit 13 threes in one game, and three the next.

It shouldn’t be that alarming. Dudes who can’t shoot coming in usually can’t shoot when it’s time to leave.

This is why I recommend everyone pump the brakes on Seth Trimble. He can’t shoot and he has a hitch in his stroke. Good luck hoping that becomes anything consistent from 3. That doesn’t clear itself in 3-4 years. That’s a 10 year project.

Seth Trimble is a smaller version of his brother. Hell they have the same shot and it’s terrible. He’s a career situational defensive sub for us.

How does a guy like that end up the 40th best recruit in his HS class though? Hard to understand. I think Procter (or Mark Mitchell) wasn't that much higher ranked than him; he looks much better.

Trimble is a liability.

Yea it’ll be interesting. I don’t think a player like Aaron Craft works in today’s basketball. You need to provide something offensively. And IMO I’d be surprised if he ever became a player with shot credibility.

Leaky has some very unique attributes with his handle, defensive chops, athleticism and physical measurables but his shot mechanics just plain suck. He shoots way to much with his arm and not nearly enough with his wrist so his shot is flat with little rotation and follow through, and he doesn't consistently square with the basket on his shots but there is some league potential. Someone in the UNC system failed miserably by not coaching him in developing his shot and getting the best use from his physical attributes. jmo

Aaron Craft was a great college player, if I recall correctly. Trimble isn't even in the same universe as Craft.

Craft??? Lol thats a bizarre comparison. He literally won games for O St. solid pg at worst. He didn’t have to shoot btw. He had peeps around him. Nevertheless he had a better percentage than our team, which is not a brag. Lol

I’m not saying Trimble will be Craft. I’m just saying I don’t think that type of player (plus defender, offensive zero) doesn’t work as well in today’s basketball.

Craft might be a bad example because he was an elite on ball defender. But that was more my point.

Theo Pinson played in the NBA! How tall is Black?, if he is 6'9 and can defend the three. I don't know, you may see him in the league one day. I'm just saying. I would have to look it up, but did Jackie Manuel ever get some time in the NBA?.

You better pray I never see you in person
