F Wake and F their assistant coach. What a win by the Heels. Great game by Austin Proehl!! He's gonna get dogged in film study for not getting into the endzone haha. Defense is just stellar. Wake had one good, sustained drive. The rest.....nada. Per @Raising Heel our pass defense is now THIRD IN THE COUNTRY!

Let's keep this train rolling against the BooHoos. Go Heels!!!

Couldn't agree more. The only complaint I had was the slow start fueled by the two interceptions. Thereafter, we played a solid game on both sides of the ball.

Yeah I know this was probably done with no harm intended but I am not fan of it. Instead, let the Wake assistant continue being the douchebag. Let the win speak for itself. I know this is not going to be very popular but I like to think of our players and staff being above such childish antics.

HELL NO, I strongly disagree with you Sharkster. That dude needed to be put in his place. You spew that BS on social media, you need to get what's coming to you. He didn't just call out the football team, he called out the whole University and all athletes past and present who have gone to UNC. I love what Switzer did. I'm all for keeping your head down and ignoring critics, but when a coach takes a direct shot at you like that, I like to see us respond. We walked the walk and talked the talk.

I would agree ordinarily, but not in this specific case. Dude needed to be put in his place, beyond just the butt whooping.

I'm glad he said what he said though....gave us bulletin board material. I hope some UVA coach shoots his mouth off this week. I'll take all the motivation our guys can get!

This. He knew perfectly damn well he was punching below the belt, and frankly I'm glad he did too.

Coach Scheier has blocked pretty much every UNC fan on Twitter who tagged him (mentioned him in a tweet) last weekend. A real man would've just taken the abuse he deserved, knowing it would pass in a day or two. This guy is so thin-skinned that he spent the whole bus ride home blocking people.
