Being reported by MSN that the group that calls itself Annonomus hacked a twitter account of reported KKK members and has just released that the mayor of Lexington Ky is a member. Lexington Ky, the home of the Ky Wild Cats, recruits may want to take a second look before deciding they want to move there, even if it is only for 6mo.

Don't know what to think about any of this yet. Found an article about this and will post it below. There are many to be found. The responsible group concerning the hack, apparently states that it will publish more news in the first week of November. What an age we now live in regardless..

Agreed. And they also listed a latino or two. Those two groups usually aren't welcomed into the KKK family.
Anyway, all we're getting right now appears to be half-truths. The list is not supposed to be released until tomorrow.

Uh JC, I am not the media, I didn't break the story, I simply pointed out on this site it was out there. I mean, like it or not, the gay klan member that happens to be the mayor of lexington Ky is a point of interest. I have not seen anyone suggest the mayor of Chapel Hill is a gay klan member, have you?

I didn't disrespect any individual here or anything pertaining to the University of North Carolina. So, I don't understand why a couple of my posts were deleted.
I simply stated that North Carolina had 9 active chapters of the Klan and Kentucky had 3 active chapters. And North Carolina had the third most Chapters of every state. The only two states with more is Texas and Mississippi.
So, if a kid has a problem with the Klan then why would this be a problem with anyone wanting to go to UK?
And then you try to change the subject by saying, "Well, no ones talking about a gay mayor at Chapel Hill that's a KKK member". Is the mayor of Chapel Hill affiliated with the University of North Carolina? Is he a board member? Is he a coach? If he's not, why would I affiliate you're mayor with UNC?
And why are you now posting, "Lexington's "GAY" mayor being a Klan member"? Do you have a problem with someone being gay? If not, why, all of a sudden, you're including "GAY" into your post? Is being "GAY" a negative on UK recruiting also?

And the reason I started the thread , " About Roy admitting recruiting the OAD players UK and Duke got" was just because the day before I posted that thread you were telling me Roy only recruited a couple of the UK Kids since Calipari had been at UK. But that got deleted as well. It was a thread I started because you have told me for years Roy doesn't recruit the kids Calipari does.

Why would the mayor of Lexington Ky being a gay Klan member be associated with the university? The mayor being the main representive of the people of his city and what is likely the largest employer in that city and ya asking why there would be a perceived affiliation? Kinda goes hand & hand.

Actually we covered this above, you shared with us the mayor was gay. We live in a country that says it is your right to what ever sexual orientation you prefer, you have a right to join the KKK if you prefer, you have a right to be gay and be a member of the KKK,lk and clearly in this country you have the right to be a gay member of the KKK and be elected mayor of Lexington Ky. None of those things are illegal in this country. It is however also legal in this country for me to not consider any of those things as things I agree with. I may for example respect ones rights to do what ever one wants in the privacy of their home when it hurts no other person but it darn sure does not mean I have to agree with those actions or that I have to elivate them to some higher level of respect. I am neither a gay rights advocate or a klan member for the record, must mean I am not the mayor of Lexington Ky.

You are what I consider the upper crust of Ky fans, I actually do not on the whole hate Ky fans or your school. I do not respect Kalpiari and we have been way down the road as to why and I frankly do not like the manner Ky fans as a whole have (excluding you) conducted themselves on our boards in the past and especially during the AFAM stuff we have been dealing with. But hey, rival fan bases do that, Ky fans and a couple other fan bases have taken that stuff to an extreme and you know that and you know that you would not like it if the roles were reversed. As I have said many times JC, you would be welcome in my home as a good friend, you have been welcome in this cyber home as just that, a good friend. Much of our exchanges, pretty much all of them have always been good natured.
